All patrons MUST wear a swimsuit.
" State Health Code does NOT allow clothing and under-garments as swim wear.
All toddlers MUST wear a swim diaper or rubber pants. Swim diapers can be purchased at the cashier desk.
" A regular diaper will NOT be allowed in the pool. These are requirements mandated by the State Health Department. Let's keep our pool clean for all patrons.
We will provide a lap lane if the pool is not overly crowded.
Play toys and floats are not allowed in either pool.
No diving is allowed except at the diving boards. A weak swimmer may be required to pass a swim test before using the diving boards.
Parents must supervise their children at ALL times.
Children under eight must be accompanied by a chaperone at least 14 years old.
Glass is not allowed. There is no smoking in the facility or the front walkway and steps.
Individuals may lose their swimming priviledges due to pool infractions. No refunds will be given.

Lifeguards are on duty to enforce rules
and to respond to an emergency.
Please take note of where your children are at all times.

Pool Rentals:
Looking for something unique for your group or organization? Book your business or church party at the William Grady Pool. Rentals are on a first come, first paid basis so call now! A minimum of a two-week notice is needed. You may bring your own food to enjoy in The Fun- N-Sun area. The concession stand is available for the evening for an additional $60.00 fee.

Swim Time is 1 hr. 30 min in length with 15 minutes to prepare to leave the facility. One third of the rental fee will be charged for each additional 30 minutes.

A $100.00 deposit is required along with the signed agreement to reserve your date. Remainder is due two weeks prior to the date of rental. $100.00 deposit becomes non-refundable due to any violation of Park District property and/or policy as determined by Belvidere Park District Staff.

Pool Rental Closings:
The pool will close if one or more of the following criteria are met:

There is a threat of violent weather or lightning is sighted. If lightning is sighted the pool will be cleared for at least 30 minutes and for another 30 minutes after each strike.
Conditions of the pool ara, water, locker area, etc., are unfavorable to the health and awelfare of patrons, or for any reason deemed hazardous to patrons.
Park District Staff will determine if rental will continue due to weather.
