PARK HOURS AND GENERAL RULES

Park property hours are from 6:00 a.m. to dusk unless a Park District sponsored program is taking place.
Alcohol is prohibited on all Park District property.
For the safety of your pet and others, please keep your pet on a leash at all times and please clean up after your pet.
The use of cell phones in Park District restrooms or locker rooms is strictly prohibited.

Observe speed limits.

Put waste in its place and use recycling containers.

Snowmobiling and off-terrain vehicles are prohibited on Park District property.

NORTHLANDS ASSOCIATION OF SPECIAL RECREATION
          Belvidere Park District is a member of Northern Illinois Special Recreation (NASR). We strive to provide recreation programs for children and adults who have a mental disability, physical impairment or any other type of disability. The NASR partnership consists of Belvidere, Freeport and Rockford Park Districts.

ANIMAL CONTROL
PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE DUCKS AND GEESE!
          For their and our safety, please do not feed the ducks and geese. The Belvidere Park District wants all park patrons to fully enjoy the facilities and asks that patrons honor a no-feeding request.
          The environment is adversely effected by the high concentrations of geese at specific locations, which causes soil erosion and ground destruction that can result in poor water quality. Geese congregate on public green spaces where the public recreates and leave a mess with their accumulating feces to which many park patrons object to.

PICNIC SHELTERS
          Eleven picnic shelters, in various park locations, are abailable to rent April thru October. Shelter reservations must be accompanied by a reservation form and shelter payment. Please Click on the Facilities/Parks button at right or go to Page 4 of the Brochure to see the Recration Facilities guild for your choice of shelter locations. INTERPRETER
          The Park District strives to meet the needs of our diverse community. A bilingual interpreter is available for program and activity information with an appointment. Currently the office staff is not bilingual and the appointment must be made with an English speaking individual.

          El distrito del parque lucha para alcanzar las necedidades de nuestro comunidad diverso. Un interprete bilinge estara disponible con cita para informacion de el programa y actividades. Actual mente nuestro personal de oficina no es bilingue y se require una cita con una person que habla solemente ingles.

          The Park District is hiring individuals for program areas. Individuals should be responsible, enjoy working with people, and be able to work well with others.

          The Belvidere Park District Board and Foundation are working together to offer a fee assistance program. With the aid of community businesses and service groups, the Park District is able to assist families with program fees. All information is kept confidential.

          Purchase gift certificates at the Admionistrative Office redeemable for swim passes and program fees! They make the perfect gift!

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
          The Belvidere Park District offers a variety of ways for your company or organization to promote your community involvement. Sponsorships are wonderful ways to give back to your community while receiving promotional recognition for your generosity. Your organization or business can sponsor youth sport programs, tournaments, special events like Enchanted Halloween Carnival, Slops of Fun, Party in the Park, Teen Activities and much more. The contribution doesn't just have to be financial, volunteers are needed to assist with activities and events. Sponsors and volunteers contribute to the success of these activities and gain visibility in the process. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
          Enhance your life while giving back to the community and have fun doing it. Volunteers are needed for youth sport coaches, special events and supervising activities.
