FREE Fall Community Events

Up in the Air

A truly fun-filled “day in the park” for the entire family, where kite-flyers of all types come together to bring a colorful palette of shapes and sizes dancing in the sky above Prairie Fields. This event features kite flying demos, games, inflatables, crafts, face painting, food trucks, and more!

Wristbands: $20 for unlimited activities (excludes face painting)
Tickets: $1 each (two to four tickets required for each activity) or $20 for 22 tickets

power Wheels 

All registered participants will start their evening with inspections where our diesel mechanics will verify that vehicles are in the proper sections before each race. Once you pass inspection, you will be directed to the PIT until race time. Be sure to bring your PIT CREW to cheer you on to victory. Children ages 2-7 are invited to bring their personal power wheel and compete in a friendly race! The competition will be divided into 3 sections, ages 2-4 with no modifications, and ages 5-7 with no modifications, and ages 2-7 with modifications. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for all sections. Registered Power Wheels must be original stock vehicles with no modifications for sections 1 & 2. Power wheels modifications are only allowed in section 3. Helmets are required for participation! Only Power Wheel type vehicles with plastic tires are allowed; electric motors are not permitted.
