Camp/Club Horizon

Camp Horizon (CH) is a summer day camp which provides full day care, for individuals with disabilities ages 6 and older, plus a whole lot more!  CH offers care from 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, during Belvidere School District 100’s summer break.  There are a few registration options to choose from: full-time, part-time, and summer school.  Check out the full program description in the Summer Go Guide.

Do you have a camper who is between the ages of 3 and 5 years?  If so, check out Camp Horizon, Jr – a two day/half day per week mini summer day camp opportunity!

Club Horizon (CH) is an after school program where children continue to learn and grow after the school day is complete.  Activities are structured around a weekly theme and the program allows for completing homework, reading, and learning how to make tasty after school snacks.  This program offers care from after school until 6:00pm, daily, and follows the Belvidere School District 100 school calendar.  CH care is not offered on “No School Days,” however, a separate No School Day Camp program will be offered for select days off.

Participants will spend an action packed, fun-filled day at No School Day Camps, which are offered on select Belvidere District 100 “No School Days” from 7:00am – 6:00pm.  Each day camp is structured around a theme includes a variety of games, crafts, experiments, and cooking treats.  Campers are required to bring a sack lunch and beverage each day of attendance.  No School Day Camp options are also available for Spring Break and Winter Breaks.
