Taking place at the Riverside Ice Arena, the only regulation-sized outdoor Ice Rink in the area, these lessons help provide kids with a well-rounded experience that combines physical exercise, personal development, social interaction, and pure enjoyment. They are a great way to encourage physical activity and fitness in children in the wintertime and help improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, balance, and coordination. This class is designed to help children six and younger to develop the ABC’s of movement; Agility, Balance, and Coordination. Prior to the first class, instructors will hold an off-ice orientation, where they will ensure all equipment is properly fitted and participants are wearing proper attire. Skates are provided. youth beginner lessons

These lessons are for the older child who wants to learn how to skate. Skill focus will be on march and glide across the ice, backward wiggles, forward one foot glide, forward and backward edge swizzles. Skates provided.
