This program is specifically designed to help teach 4- to 9-year-olds the important qualities of respect, self-control and confidence, while building motor skills and coordination. In addition, children will learn the importance of situational awareness. The first years are the most important, so start early and give your child the important skills to succeed throughout their lives. The Belvidere Park District does not require your child to purchase any additional equipment to participate. However, if you would like to move up in the rank/belt system, additional equipment, uniform and testing fees may apply via your instructor.
