YWCA Funding for After School Care

We are excited to announce that for the 2025/2026 School Year, we will be accepting Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) funding for our popular after-school programs — Third Base and Club Horizon! This exciting step is part of our ongoing mission to provide safe, affordable, and enriching childcare for ALL families in our community.

How to Use CCAP for 25-26 School Year (Third Base & Club Horizon)

  1. Apply for CCAP Funding
Contact the YWCA of Northwestern Illinois to apply:
    Phone: (815) 484-9442
    Website: https://www.ywcanwil.org
    Email: info@ywcanwil.org
The Park District has paper copies of our portion of the application in-house, and we can also email them to you upon request.
  2. Already Have CCAP at Another Facility?
Ask to change or add additional providers to the Belvidere Township Park District.  Please choose the appropriate site.  If the student attends Perry, please choose Third Base-Lincoln.
  3. Wait for Approval
You must wait until the Belvidere Park District is approved as your provider before CCAP funding can be used.
  4. Pay Privately Until Approval
If you want to start before approval, you must pay the program fees yourself.
There are no refunds for payments made before approval.
    • Register for Park District Programs
Once approved (or ready to begin care), you must complete registration for Third Base or Club Horizon through the Belvidere Township Park District.  Please bring the participant’s immunization records at the time of registration.
    • Third Base: Please register at Rivers Edge, 1151 West Locust St., Belvidere, Monday-Friday 9a-5p
    • Club Horizon: Please contact Sean at 815-547-5711, ext. 601 or scramer@belviderepark.org for registration details
