Camp Compass Summer Camp
Location: Rivers Edge Recreation Center
Each week will be full of new games, activities and field trips. Time: 7 AM-6 PM • Monday-Friday. The first week attending camp needs to be paid in full at time of registration. Registration can be completed at belviderepark.org or in-person at Rivers Edge Recreation Center. Fees: R/NR $175/$180 • Min/Max: 8/30 (KI) • Weeks 3 & 5 Fee: R/NR $145/150 due to shorter weeks due to holidays
Please note: Camp Compass is a license-exempt program, the facility and program is not licensed or regulated by DCFS. The Belvidere Park District follows the guidelines put in place by the Illinois Department of Human Services and accepts requests for childcare assistance from DCFS. Parents/Guardians are responsible for registration fees until the State of Illinois authorizes financial assistance.

Important Camp Details:
Payments and paperwork must be completed before your child can attend. All registration forms, health history, and emergency contact information must be submitted through our online system-ePACT. Children should be registered for the grade they will be entering for the 2026/2027 school year. Registration Deadline: Your child must be registered by Monday at 11:59 PM the week prior to the week attending. Billing will happen weekly on Tuesdays prior to camp week starting. If payment is not received by Tuesday at 4 PM, child will not be able to attend that week of camp. A parent/camper handbook containing our policies and procedures is available to all participants upon registration and can also be found online at www.belviderepark.org under Programs & Events in the Camp section. Campers should arrive no later than 9 AM. Pick-up is anytime from 4-6 PM. Breakfast and an afternoon snack are provided daily. Breakfast is served to campers who arrive before 8:30 AM. Please bring a lunch daily. If campers forget to bring a lunch, one will be provided for them and an $8 fee will be applied to your account. Site is a nut-free program.
