Legal Notice – Belvidere Park District Board Vacancy

LEGAL NOTICE

The Belvidere Park District Board of Commissioners has announced a vacancy on the Board of Commissioners as of May 12, 2026, for a seat originally scheduled for re-election in April 2029. The individual appointed to fill the vacancy will serve until the Board meeting following the April 2027 Consolidated Election, anticipated to be held in May 2027.

Interested individuals who meet the qualifications established under Illinois law may submit a letter of intent and current resume no later than June 25, 2026.
Submission materials may be delivered in person or by mail to the Belvidere Park District Administration Office, 1006 W. Lincoln Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by email to jjacky@belviderepark.org with the subject line “Board Vacancy.”

The Board will review applicants and conduct interviews after the submission deadline in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
